A great Teppanyaki place in the food belt around Shinjuku Station. High quality meat and seafood, nicely orchestrated set lunches and dinners, very friendly, lively staff.Counter seating only, all staff fluent in English. Not exactly cheap, but not too expensive when you look at the quality provided.Reservations required, we called.kust 5 minutes before and got lucky.

This place is awesome. I was in the ground floor which is meat grilled I front of you. Up stairs you got more Japanese fish based food options.Everything was great, service, food, ambiance. Had the Wagyu which is true Wagyu, tender and full of flavor. High recommended in my opinion!

Amazing food and a great atmosphere. We shared a steak set and seafood set which was a good size for 2 people. Much better sharing to enjoy more flavours. We loved this restaurant so much we went twice in the week we had in Tokyo. The chefs were excellent and spoke English. Cant say enough about how good the food was, I never knew prawn shells could be cooked in a way that would make them so yummy. Thank you for a great dinning experience.

Just had an amazing lunch downstairs. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and spoke great English. The chef cooking in front of us was extremely personable and professional. Amazing value and didnΓ’β¬β’t feel overly touristy for being in Shinjuku. Would definitely recommend to any visitor to the area!!!

Great lunch menu and fair price for the quality. There are many floors, tepanyaki on the first. The rest are menu and steaks. I find seatings on the second floor very comfortable and privately separated tables are relaxed, not conjested. Service was top notched. Food tastes great. Highly recommended! Final touch with hot tea on the house.

Kurumaya Bekkan serves delicious Teppanyaki steak and provides excellent service.The restaurant is located around 50 m from JR shinjuku east exit. On the first floor, thet serves Teppanyaki on a big steel plate. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very good. Even though it is not cheap eat, but all ingredients were tasty and nice, especially the quality of the beef!The menus were easy to follow and the staff were helpfull and friendly. Ensure that you make a booking as the seats at the cooking counter are limited but well worth the effort. Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant.

Very nice place with extremely attentive and friendly service personal. Prices are a bit on the higher end, but they have a range and you will find something also for a cheaper price. The food quality and variety was excellent.

Fantastic meal! I rate this as one if the best dining experiences we have had since being in Japan. Food was amazing, delicate and delicious favours, chef was great company and staff were excellent. They welcomed our children & catered appropriately. Highly recommend!

had an amazing teppanyaki lunch with a group of us. The service was impeccible, the food was amazing (especially the steak). About $80USD for lunch but well worth it. Will go back every time I visit Shinjuku
